NetExtender is an SSL VPN client for Windows or Linux users that is downloaded transparently and that allows you to run any application securely on the company's network. It uses Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP). NetExtender allows remote clients seamless access to resources on your local network. Users can access NetExtender two ways:

Customers with Citrix-managed Citrix Gateway service do not need to take any action. Start the Aviatrix VPN Client application by going to LaunchPad and clicking on “Aviatrix VPN Client”. When you connect to a VPN, the VPN gateway may not become the default gateway for all of your Internet traffic. Instead, your default gateway remains the gateway of your local LAN. The VPN gateway is used only for routing traffic through specific hosts. For Windows computers, you have a client application under your computer. You use it to connect to the vpn server. As for Linux, you access it through the browser. Open the browser and type the IP (or domain) of the vpn server with the URI configuration ssl of Check Point.
