Comcast may not confirm this in writing but Netgear CG3000D firmware has inter portability issues with fortinet fortigates. Tends to reset anywhere between 5 min to 30 min. Recommendations are to use: SMCD3G or Cisco DPC3939 both DOCSIS 3.0 modems
